WE SUPPORTED 6 STUDENTS AND 1 TEACHER (FULLY PAID) AND GAVE $500 TO ANOTHER 18 STUDENTS AND 3 TEACHERS ON THE TRIP WHICH VISITED STEM EDUCATIONAL SITES IN EUROPE. - COORDINATED A TRIP THAT INVOLVED STUDENTS FROM TOHOKU UNIVERSITY IN JAPAN FOR A WEEK-LONG VISIT. WE FOUND HOST FAMILIES FOR THE STUDENTS AND PLANNED SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL EVENTS THAT INCLUDED RIVERSIDE STEM ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.- PURCHASED OVER $7,000 WORTH OF EDUCATIONAL ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT FOR RIVERSIDE STEM ACADEMY. ITEMS INCLUDE K'NEX BUILDING KITS, A WATER DISTILLER, VEX ENGINEERING KITS, MOLECULAR MODEL SETS, PHYSICAL EDUCATION EQUIPMENT AND BOOKS FOR THE HUMANITIES CLASS.
