WITH THE HELP OF OVER 1,000 UNDERGRADUATE VOLUNTEERS, ALONG WITH EMPLOYED MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY, ONE TENT HEALTH ALSO PARTNERED AND CONTRACTED WITH THE LOCAL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO ORGANIZE OVER 100 FREE COVID-19 TESTING EVENTS IN AREAS OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WITH THE HIGHEST NEED AND LOWEST ACCESS TO SERVICES. OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR, ONE TENT HEALTH SERVED OVER 8,000 PEOPLE, ALL WITHOUT CHARGING ANY OF THE PEOPLE WE SERVE, AND HAD AN UNOFFICIAL COVID TESTING POSITIVITY RATE EQUAL TO TWICE THE DISTRICT'S AVERAGE IN THE MIDST OF THE GLOBAL COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
