IN 2021, ONWARD ISRAEL RESTORED THE MAJORITY OF ITS TRAVEL PROGRAMS TO ISRAEL, BUT DID SUFFER A REDUCTION IN ACTIVITIES IN COMPARISON TO 2019 IN THE WINTER, DUE TO THE OUTBREAK OF THE COVID-10 OMICRON VARIANT. IN THE SUMMER OF 2021 TRAVEL TO ISRAEL RESUMED, ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A REDUCTION IN DEMAND DUE TO THE ESCALATION OF HOSTILITIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST REGION IN MAY, 2021. ACTIVITY AND PARTICIPATION WERE ABOUT 70% OF 2019 PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS.
