SECOND STAGE READING SERIES: 3-7 TIMES PER YEAR, THE SERIES UTILIZES TALENTED ACTORS WHO READ PARTS FROM THE STAGE WITHOUT SETS OR COSTUMES. OFFERED AT LOW COST, IT IS ACCESSIBLE TO A DIVERSE VARIETY OF AUDIENCE MEMBERS AND HELD IN LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT SAN DIEGO. 300 PEOPLE ATTEND. INCLUSIVE OF A NON-REVENUE PRODUCING PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT A JEWISH PLAY READING SERIES WITH THE JCC
THE TRTC YOUTH EDUCATION PROGRAM INCREASES CREATIVE ABILITIES OF YOUTH THROUGH CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE PROGRAMMING; INCLUDES INTRO TO PLAYWRITING, COMEDY ACTING WORKSHOP, COMEDY IMPROV WORKSHOP, AND MOVING AHEAD IN THE ARTS AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL. PROGRAM TAKES PLACE 3 MIDDLE SHCOOLS REACHING 40 YOUTH. THIS YEAR THERE WAS A MUSICAL THEATRE MASTER CLASS INITIATIVE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR SAN DIEGO YOUTH THAT CULMINATED IN A PRESENTATION AT A LOCAL THEATRE.
