B'NAI MITZVAH - THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH CHILDREN, AGES THIRTEEN AND UP, TO MARK THEIR BAR/BAT MITZVAH IN A MEANINGFUL WAY AND TO PROMOTE CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT AFTERWARDS. THEY DO THIS BY CREATING A CUSTOMIZED PATH ACCORDING TO THE CHILD'S INTERESTS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES - BEINEINU OFFERS ADDITIONAL IN PERSON GATHERINGS AROUND HOLIDAYS INCLUDING SHABBAT, PURIM AND CHANUKAH. THESE GATHERINGS ARE A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC AND READINGS ENABLING PEOPLE TO COME TOGETHER AND ALSO ENJOY A FESTIVE MEAL. ANYWHERE FROM 60-80 PEOPLE ATTEND. IN 2022 WE HAD 4 OF THESE IN PERSON GATHERINGS.ONE ON ONE AND CSFA ARE BOTH YOUTH LEARNING PROGRAMS. EITHER ONE ON ONE OR AS LARGE OF GROUPS OF SIX CHILDREN COME TOGETHER WEEKLY TO EXPLORE JEWISH CULTURE - HOLIDAYS, HEBREW LANGUAGE AND UNIVERSAL VALUES THAT ARE ALSO REFLECTED IN JEWISH CULTURE. WE EXPOSE THEM TO CONTENT USING GAMES, DISCUSSION, STORYTELLING, ART AND MOVEMENT.
HIGH HOLY DAYS - MEMBERS OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY GATHER AT AN UPPER WEST SIDE SYNAGOGUE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OBSERVANCE OF HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES, WHICH MARKS THE BEGINNING OF THE JEWISH NEW YEAR AND THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. SUCH SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZATION, AND ITS CONGREGANTS CONTRIBUTE A FEE TO ATTEND.
