DOMESTIC ABUSE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT - THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDED COUNSELING, ADVOCACY, COMMUNITY EDUCATION, TRAINING, COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND OTHER SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT.


IOWA COALITION AGAINST SEXUAL ASSUALT: PROVIDES A BRIDGE BETWEEN ADVOCATES AT SEXUAL ASSAULT SERVICE PROGRAMS, STATEWIDE POLICY MAKERS, AND FEDERAL RESPONSES TO SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN. ADVOCATES ARE TRAINED PROFESSIONALS WHOSE JOBS ARE TO SUPPORT SEXUAL ASSUALT SURVIVORS.


CEDAR RAPIDS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION: IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN LINN COUNTY, IOWA BY PROMOTING CHARITABLE GIVING; CONNECTING DONORS TO THE CAUSES THEY CARE ABOUT; STRENGTHENING NONPROFITS THROUGH GRANTS AND SUPPORT; AND PROVIDING LEADERSHIP ON COMMUNITY ISSUES THAT INVOLVE CHARITABLE GIVING.
