THE MISSION OF THE BIG EARS FESTIVAL IS TO CREATE, NURTURE, AND SUPPORT ARTISTIC EXPRESSION AND CULTURAL EDUCATION THAT TRANSCENDS TRADITIONAL BOUNDARIES, STRENGTHENS AND BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS, AND CONNECTS ACROSS KNOXVILLE THROUGH GENRE-DEFYING MUSIC, FILM AND ARTS PROGRAMMING, AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES.
