PROVIDING A ONE-DAY FORUM PRESENTED BY DIVERSE STAKEHOLDERS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY'S BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT MODERN AGRICULTURE IN THE COUNTY AND STATE, AND ITS FOUNDATIONAL ROLE IN ADVANCING OUR QUALITY OF LIFE AND DRIVING LOCAL, REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND GLOBAL COMMUNITIES.

PLANNING AND HOSTING THE PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SUMMIT (THE "SUMMIT") - THE SUMMIT PROVIDED A FORUM FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA STAKEHOLDERS TO COME TOGETHER TO LEARN ABOUT THE BUSINESS OF MODERN AGRICULTURE AND ITS ROLE IN THE LOCAL ECONOMY. THE SUMMIT IDENTIFIED ADN DEVELPED OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL AGRICULTURE, ENCOURAGED AND PROMOTED NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES BETWEEN AGRICULTURE AND NON-AGRICULTURE BUSINESSES, PUBLICIZED THE BENEFITS OF A STRONG LOCAL AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY, RESEARCHED A DETAILED ECONOMIC STUDY FOCUSED ON THE IMPACT OF THE LOCAL AGRICULTURAL INDUATRY ON LOCAL BUSINESS AND QUALITY-OF-LIFE, AND BROUGHT TOGETHER VARIOUS STAKEHOLDERS AND INNOVATORS TO DEVELOP NEW WAYS FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY TO BE AT THE FOREFRONT OF WORK TOWARD NEW SOLUTIONS OR APPROACHES TO ELIMINATE OR REDUCE FOOD SUPPLY, DISTRIBUTION, AND NUTRITION ISSUES.
