HBBA IS AN OREGON NON-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT EXISTS TO PROVIDE YOUNG BOYS AND GIRLS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ORGANIZED BASEBALL EXPERIENCE. IT IS THE GOAL OF HBBA TO PROVIDE EACH CHILD, REGARDLESS OF SKILL LEVEL, AN OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE IN BASEBALL AND ENJOY A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT.

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL PROGRAMS: HBBA SERVES OVER 300 YOUTH FROM THE HILLSBORO AREA, RANGING IN AGES FROM K-8TH GRADES. THE PROGRAM IS RUN 100% BY VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HILLSBORO PARKS AND LOCAL SCHOOLS FOR MAJOR UPGRADES TO FIELDS IN THE AREA. HBBA VOLUNTEERS MANAGE ALL UNIFORM & GEAR DISTRIBUTION, TEAM & COACHING ASSIGNMENTS, FIELD COORDINATION, LOCAL TOURNAMENTS, CONCESSIONS, AND FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES. HBBA GRANTS FUNDS TO FAMILIES WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO PAY REGISTRATION FEES. THE HBBA PROGRAM SUPPORTS BOTH RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE PLAY SO NO CHILD IS ALIENATED BASED ON SKILL LEVEL OR EXPERIENCE.
