DURING THE FIRST DESCENTS EXPERIENCE, YOUNG ADULTS IMPACTED BY CANCER AND OTHER SERIOUS HEALTH CONDITIONS ARE EMPOWERED THROUGH CONQUERING OF LEGITIMATE OUTDOOR CHALLENGES TO PUSH THEIR LIMITS AND FACE THEIR FEARS AND BY DOING SO, THEY REGAIN THE CONFIDENCE LOST TO HEALTH CONDITIONS.
