DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES PROGRAMS LOCATE JOBS FOR DISABLED ADULTS, PROVIDING ON-SITE TRAINING AND LONG-TERM FOLLOW UP FOR CLIENTS AND THEIR EMPLOYERS. WORK WITH DISABLED ADULTS IN CREATING MORE INDEPENDENCE IN COMMUNITY LIVING.


AGENCY WITH CHOICE ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS TO GAIN AN INCREASED LEVEL OF SELF-DETERMINATION WHEN THEY ASSUME SHARED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE HIRING AND MANAGEMENT OF THE EMPLOYEES WHO PROVIDE WAIVER SERVICES TO THEM. THE PROGRAM ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS TO EXPERIENCE A GREATER LEVEL OF SELF-DETERMINATION AS THEY LEARN NEW SKILLS THROUGH THE SHARING OF MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES.
