THE MONTANA TENNIS ASSOCIATION (MTA) PROMOTES AND DEVELOPS ADULT AND JUNIOR TENNIS COMPETITIONS THROUGH STATEWIDE TENNIS TRAINING PROGRAMS, EDUCATIONAL/SKILL WORKSHOPS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEAGUE PLAY, AND MULTIPLE SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS.IN 2021, MTA WORKED WITH 100 CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE STATEWIDE USING "TENNIS IS ELEMENTARY" PROGRAMMING IN SCHOOLS. APPROXIMATELY 30-40 OF THOSE CHILDREN WERE SEEN IN FLAGSHIP PROGRAMS. THE MTA ALSO SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,000 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS WHO PARTICIPATED IN TOURNAMENTS AND LEAGUES STATEWIDE.
