THE MISSION OF THE MONTANA LOGGING ASSOCIATION IS TO ENHANCE THE PROFESSIONAL STATUS OF MONTANA TIMBER HARVESTERS, SUPPORT THEIR ENDEAVORS, AND ENSURE THAT OUR STATE'S RENEWABLE FORESTS PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

MEETING REVENUE - OBJECTIVE IS TO ADVANCE THE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND EDUCATIONAL INTEREST AMONG THE LOGGING AND TIMBER INDUSTRY THROUGH ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS. THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS BRING TOGETHER MEMBERS OF THE LOGGING AND TIMBER INDUSTRY TO EDUCATE THEM ON THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AND TO EXPLORE SOLUTIONS TO CURRENT PROBLEMS.


MEMBERSHIP DUES - THROUGH DUES INCOME, THE MLA PROVIDES STRONG REPRESENTATION AND ONGOING SUPPORT FOR MONTANA'S INDEPENDENT LOGGING CONTRACTORS AND PROVIDES A UNITED VOICE ON ISSUES IMPACTING THE PROFESSION AT THE FEDERAL AND STATE LEVELS. THE DUES ALSO ALLOW THE ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE INDUSTRY PROGRAMS, TECHNICAL-DIVISION SUPPORT AND DIRECT SERVICES TO MEMBERS. A PORTION OF THE DUES INCOME SUPPORTS THE GENERAL FUND WHICH HELPS TO OFFSET EXPENSES RELATED TO OPERATING THE ORGANIZATION.


FORESTRY WORKSHOPS - THROUGH THE USE OF FORESTRY WORKSHOPS, THE ORGANZATION BRINGS TOGETHER MEMBERS OF THE LOGGING AND TIMBER INDUSTRY TO EDUCATE THEM ON THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS.
