THE LEAGUE CONTINUES TO PROVIDE AN ORGANIZED YOUTH BASEBALL ACTIVITY FOR PLAYERS AGED 8 TO 16 IN THE NEWPORT-MESA AREA. THE PROGRAM SERVES APPROXIMATELY 175 PLAYERS. IN ADDITION TO THE BOARD MEMBERS, THE PROGRAM HAS THE SUPPORT OF AN ADDITIONAL 45-50 COACHES AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS WHO DONATE AN ESTIMATED 4,400 HRS. TO THE LEAGUE. THE LEAGUE HAS BENEFITED FROM $8,025 IN DONATIONS AND GRANTS.
