TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN WHO ARE ENROLLED IN THE OHIO STATE SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND'S (OSSB) EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND STUDENT MUSIC PROGRAMS.

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FUNDING TO THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT SO THAT STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT PROGRAM COULD TAKE PART AND ATTEND SUMMER CAMP WHERE STUDENTS RECEIVED OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ADDITIONAL MUSIC SKILLS AND EXPAND THEIR RANGE OF MUSIC UNDERSTANDING AND PLAYING SKILLS. IT ASSISTED THE SCHOOL AND DEPARTMENT IN PROVIDING FUNDS THAT ADDITIONAL CHILDREN COULD ATTEND THE SUMMER PROGRAM. IT ALSO PROVIDED THE DEPARTMENT WITH FUNDS TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS THAT THE STUDENTS USE IN THE MUSICAL ACTIVITIES OF THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING CHOIR, BAND, AND MUSIC LESSONS. ALSO PROVIDED FUNDING FOR BAND TRIP TO BOSTON FOR LION'S CLUB ANNUAL CONVENTION.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED STUDENTS WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO ENHANCE STUDENT LIFE, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF OPTICAL LENSES AND READING ENHANCEMENT TECHNOLOGIES. OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED PROVIDING ART SUPPLIES TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES TEACHERS WITH ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO PROVIDE CLASSROOM MATERIALS TO STUDENTS OF ALL AGES.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATING SENIORS TO PURSUE FURTHER EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS AT 2 OR 4 YEAR COLLEGES AND TRADE SCHOOLS.
