MANDIR IS 'FOR, BY AND OF' THE DEVOTEES AND MANAGED BY SELF-MOTIVATED VOLUNTEERS OFFERING THEIR TIME, TALENT, AND TREASURE AND STRIVING FOR A SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE TO ALL. 100 OF CONTRIBUTIONS GO TO THE MANDIR AND NOT TO ANY INDIVIDUAL. MAJOR EVENTS: 1. MAHA SHIVARATRI IS AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO THE HINDU GOD SHIVA. UNLIKE MOST HINDU FESTIVALS WHICH ARE CELEBRATED DURING THE DAY, THE MAHA SHIVARATRI IS CELEBRATED AT NIGHT.
