THE FOUNDATION HAD SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT THE AGENCY'S OPERATIONS DURING FYE 6/30/22 DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE COVID PANDEMIC ON DAILY LIFE, SHELTER IN PLACE ORDERS BY THE GOVERNMENT OF CALIFORNIA, INABILITY TO COMMENCE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES, DIFFICULTY IN RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS DURING THE PANDEMIC AND OTHER OPERATIONAL OBSTACLES. THE AGENCY ALSO HAD REDUCED NEED FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT DURING FYE 6/30/2022 DUE TO SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED FUNDING FOR ITS OPERATIONS FROM THE DISTRIBUTION OF FEDERAL COVID RELIEF FUNDING.
