FOUNDATIONS: THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS EFFORTS TO COORDINATE THE ACTIVITIES OF COUNTY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES COMMISSIONS WITH THOSE OF CHARITABLE FOUNDATIONS, IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE THEIR COLLECTIVE IMPACT, AND REDUCE DUPLICATION. THIS INCLUDED SUPPORT FOR A CONVENING DEDICATED TO IMPLEMENTATION OF DEDICATED FUNDING STREAMS FOR CHILDREN.


SERVICE CORPS: THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS FIRST 5 SERVICE CORPS, FUNDED THROUGH THE CALIFORNIA VOLUNTEERS AMERICORPS PROGRAM. THE CALIFORNIA VOLUNTEERS AMERICORPS PROGRAM SUPPORTED AMERICORPS MEMBERS' SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM WORK IN 11 CALIFORNIA COUNTIES.
