LEGISLATIVE REGULATORY POLICY - PHA REPRESENTS THE PHYSICIAN-OWNED HOSPITAL INDUSTRY BEFORE CONGRESS AND FEDERAL REGULATORS AND ENGAGES AND INFORMS MEMBERS ON ACTIVITIES IN THOSE AREAS. STAFF, CONTRACTORS, AND MEMBERS ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF PHYSICIAN-OWNED HOSPITALS IN FAVOR OF PATIENT CHOICE AND HIGHER QUALITY IN HEALTHCARE.


RESEARCH - PHA MANAGES A RESEARCH PROJECTS TO COLLECT, AGGREGATE, AND DISTRIBUTE STATISTICS ON PATIENT SATISFACTION, QUALITY OF CARE, AND FINANCIAL HEALTH OF MEMBER HOSPITALS. SPECIAL PROJECTS MAY BE COMMISSIONED AS-NEEDED TO RESEARCH, WRITE, AND PUBLISH PEER-REVIEWED ARTICLES INVESTIGATING THE QUALITY AND COST OF TREATMENT AT PHYSICIAN-OWNED HOSPITALS.
