THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING SUBSTANDARD HOUSING THROUGH CONSTRUCTING, REHABILITATING, AND PRESERVING HOMES WITH ITS HOUSING INITIATIVES.THE HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM ASSISTS LOW INCOME FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYERS TO ACHIEVE AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP, AND HABITAT HOMES ARE SOLD TO PARTNER HOMEBUYERS WITH AN AFFORDABLE MORTGAGE. HOME REPAIRS ARE OFFERED TO HELP LOW-INCOME HOMEOWNERS REMAIN SAFELY IN THEIR HOMES AS WELL AS NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS RANGING FROM SUPPORTING COMMUNITY NONPROFITS WITH CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO BEAUTIFYING PUBLIC SPACES AND PARKS. THE RESTORE SELLS NEW AND GENTLY USED FURNITURE, HOME IMPROVEMENT SUPPLIES AND BUILDING MATERIALS AT A FRACTION OF THE RETAIL PRICE. ALL SALES FUND THE PROGRAMS OF HABITAT SANTA BARBARA.
