THE AFRICAN AMERICAN ADULT AND YOUTH PROGRAM PROVIDES 24 HOUR AFRICENTRIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR THE SERIUOSLY MENTALLY ILL. SERVICES INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT, MEDICATIONS, TREATMENTS, AND CRISIS INTERVENTIONS. IN ADDITION, AFRICENTRIC HOME BASED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIIES INVOLVED IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM.


THE AFRICAN AMERICAN SURVIVAL SKILLS PROGRAM EMPLOYS THE USE OF GROUPS TO FOCUS 0N DEVELOPING SKILLS TO SUCCEED IN SCHOOL AND IN THE COMMUNITY FROM AN AFRICENTRIC POINT OF VIEW INCLUDING A WELLNESS CENTER.
