THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF TRIAL LAWYERS FOUNDATION IS A 501(C) 3 CORPORATION THAT WAS FOUNDED IN 1983. ALTHOUGH IT OPERATES INDEPENDENTLY OF THE ACADEMY, IT PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN SUPPORTING ACADEMY INITIATIVES SUCH AS THE ANTI-TRAFFICKING COALITION, YOUTH RESTORATIVE JUSTICE INITIATIVE, IRELAND PROGRAM, AND INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIVES. IT ALSO SUPPORTS WORTHWHILE ENDEAVORS OF OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. THE FOUNDATION HAS MADE GREAT STRIDES, THROUGH ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT, IN PROMOTING THE RULE OF LAW, THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE, AND THE TRAINING OF JUDGES AND TRIAL LAWYERS.
