SUPPORT AND PROVIDE ENRICHMENT TO ALL MUSIC PROGRAMS AT MONTE VISTA HIGH SCHOOL. RECRUIT AND MAINTAIN AN ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP OF PARENTS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE ALL ASPECTS OF THE MVHS MUSIC PROGRAM.OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE MVHS MUSIC PROGRAM, INCLUDING MUSIC SPECIALISTS, AND PURCHASE OF MUSIC, OUTSIDE CLINICIANS, CHOIR UNIFORMS, INSTRUMENTS, EQUIPMENT/SUPPLIES, ETC....PROVIDE LOGISTICAL SUPPPORT TO ALL MUSIC PROGRAMS AT MVHS THROUGH VOLUNTEER TIME AND LABOR AS NEEDED.

SUPPORTED PERFORMANCE TRIP TO CARNEGIE HALL AND CENTRAL PARK IN NEW YORK FOR CURRICULUM PROGRAM. SUPPORTED PERFORMANCE AND COMPETITION TRIPS WITHIN CALIFORNIA FOR NON-CURRICULUM PROGRAMS.


COMPLETED SUCCESSFUL SEASONS FOR ALL MAJOR PROGRAMS WITH RESPECTIVE TOP PLACEMENTS IN COMPETITIONS. SUPPORTED THE BUILDING OF A TIGHT-KNIT COMMUNITY OF HIGH PERFORMING MUSICAL STUDENTS.


BUILT COMMUNITY FOR MORE THAN SIXTY MUSIC FAMILIES THROUGH COMMUNICATIONS, BANQUETS AND POST-CONCERT RECEPTIONS. FUNDED ROUTINE INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS. FUNDED PURCHASE OF NEW INSTRUMENTS AND REFURBISHED INSTRUMENTS. FUNDED CLINICIANS,UNIFORMS AND FOOD, AND PROVIDED LOGISTICAL SUPPORT FOR MAJOR PROGRAMS.
