TO OVERSEE THE OPTIMAL ADMINISTRATION OF WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT (WIOA) FUNDS IN FRESNO COUNTY. TO FOSTER ECONOMIC VITALITY OF THE FRESNO REGION IN SERVING BOTH THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND THE INDIVIDUAL JOB SEEKER WITH THE PROVISION OF HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.

WIOA TITLE I YOUTH FORMULA:PROVIDED YOUTH EFFECTIVE AND COMPREHENSIVE ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST THEM IN ACHIEVING ACADEMIC AND EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS. A TOTAL OF 1,168 YOUTH WERE SERVED UNDER THE PROGRAM.
WIOA TITLE I ADULT FORMULA:PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES TO ELIGIBLE ADULTS. A TOTAL OF 810 PARTICIPANTS WERE SERVED UNDER THE PROGRAM.
WIOA TITLE I DISLOCATED WORKERS FORMULA:PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES TO ELIGIBLE DISLOCATED WORKERS. A TOTAL OF 514 PARTICIPANTS WERE SERVED UNDER THE PROGRAM.
