LEADERSHIP ST. PETE CLASS COMMUNITY PROJECT IS A CIVIC-ENGAGEMENT, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT THAT IS COMPLETED DURING THE TERM OF THE PROGRAM. THE 2023 COMMUNITY PROJECT CONVERTED FORMER PRESCHOOL CLASSROOMS INTO COLLABORATIVE SPACES FOR NONPROFIT LEADERS AND CHANGE-MAKERS. THE ROOMS WERE TRANSFORMED INTO A FLEXIBLE AND TECHNOLOGY-SUPPORTED SPACES THAT NONPROFITS CAN USE TO HOST MEETINGS, WORKSHOPS, AND EVENTS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDED SUPPORT TOWARD DEI LUNCH & LEARN, SUPPORT TOWARD ONLINE PLATFORM ONE PINELLAS - A COUNTY ONLINE PLATFORM FOR ENTREPRENEURS TO FIND THEIR NEXT STEPS TO GROW AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA HURRICANE RESILIENCY TOUR "WHERE WE HEARD FROM CHAMBER REPRESENTATIVES, ELECTED OFFICIALS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND CITY ZONING PROFESSIONALS AND BROUGHT BACK "LESSONS LEARNED" FOR OUR COMMUNITY.
LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE BRINGS TOGETHER COMMUNITY LEADERS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT WITH THE CITY OF ST. PETE'S PILLARS OF PROGRESS. THIS INITIATIVE SUCCEEDING THE GROW SMARTER INITIATIVE IMPLEMENTED IN 2015 THAT PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE CHAMBER AND LOCAL LEADERS LED TO THE ST. PETERSBURG ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL'S (EDC) CREATION, THE INNOVATION DISTRICT'S FORMATION AND THE ST. PETE GREENHOUSE'S DEVELOPMENT.
THINKING OUTSIDE THE BURG TRIP BROUGHT BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENT, AND CIVIC LEADERS TOGETHER TO LEARN FROM ANOTHER MARKET THAT IS LEADING THE WORLD IN INCLUSIVE ECONOMIC GROWTH BY WELCOMING ALL, EMPOWERING TALENT AND IGNITING INNOVATION.
