IS DEDICATED TO CONTRIBUTING WITH FINANCIAL AND VOLUNTEER SERVICE SUPPORT TO THE MHS LEARNING COMMUNITY BY SUPPORTING A WIDE VARIETY OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES, CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES. MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL IS LOCATED AT 935 ECHO LANE, IN HOUSTON, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB, INC. ACCOMPLISHES ITS GENERAL PURPOSE BY PROVIDING SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT, MAINTAINING, RENOVATING, ENHANCING CAMPUS FACILITIES ON WHICH VARIOUS SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE CONDUCTED, AND PROVIDING ANY OTHER SUPPORT AND SERVICES THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL.

ATHLETIC COMPETITION ENHANCEMENT-THE MHS BOOSTER CLUB, INC. PURCHASED SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE SUB-VARSITY AND VARSITY SPORTS TEAMS AS NEEDED. THE BOOSTER CLUB ALSO PAID FOR VARIOUS COACHES CLINICS AND TOURNAMENTS TO ENHANCE THEIR ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE. THESE TEAMS INCLUDE BOY'S FOOTBALL, BOY'S AND GIRL'S BASKETBALL, BOY'S AND GIRL'S GOLF, BOY'S AND GIRL'S SOCCER, BOY'S AND GIRL'S TRACK, SWIMMING,CROSS COUNTRY, BOY'S AND GIRL'S TENNIS, BOY'S BASEBALL, GIRL'S SOFTBALL, GIRL'S VOLLEYBALL BOY'S AND GIRL'S LACROSSE, RUGBY, SPORTS MEDICINE, GIRL'S FIELD HOCKEY, JV AND VARSITY CHEERLEADERS, AND WRANGLERS .


ALL OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS 1. THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB INC., DIRECTLY IMPACTED THE CLASSROOM EXPERIENCES BY HELPING TO PROVIDE FUNDAMENTAL CLASSROOM ITEMS NEEDED BY THE HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY BUT NOT PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OR THROUGH STATE FUNDING AS WELL AS DIRECTLY PROVIDING INSTRUMENTS, UNIFORMS, AND TOURNAMENT FEES TO VARIOUS STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL SUCH AS THE BAND, SCHOOL CHOIR, COLOR GUARD, MARKETTES, DEBATE TEAM, ORCHESTRA, AND THE THEATRE DEPARTMENT. 2. THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB INC., ALSO CONTRIBUTED TO OUR COMMUNITY TO ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO STAY IN SCHOOL AND ACHIVE IN LIFE BY CONTRIBUTING TO COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM AND BY GIVING A SCHOLARSHIP TO A GRADUATING SENIOR FROM MHS.


MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENTS TO CAMPUS FACILITIES - THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB, INC. SUPPORTED THE MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE ATHLETIC FIELDS, LOCKER ROOMS, GYMS, FIELD HOUSE, AND OTHER CAMPUS FACILITIES.


SPIRIT PROMOTION - THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB, INC. PROMOTED WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND VOLUNTEER SERVICES THE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY THE CHEERLEADERS, WRANGLERS, MUSTANG SWEETHEARTS (SPIRIT GROUP), SCHOOL MASCOT, BAND, STUDENT COUNCIL AND OTHER STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS AT MHS HIGH SCHOOL. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH NUMEROUS EVENTS WHICH WERE PROMOTED BY THE BOOSTER CLUB THROUGH ADVERTISING AND DECORATING THE SCHOOL FOR THESE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING ORGANIZING AND CONTRIBUTING TO AN ALL-SCHOOL PEP RALLY, MEET THE MUSTANGS(A BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT) AND A MEET THE COACHES FOR INCOMING STUDENTS AND OTHER VARIOUS SCHOOL SPIRIT ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE TO ALL STUDENTS. INDIVIDUAL YARD SIGNS FOR INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES AND OTHER COMPETING STUDENTS (LIKE DEBATE, BAND, MARKETTES & ORCHESTRA) AT THE SCHOOL ARE PROVIDED/MADE BY SPIRIT GROUPS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE TEAMS AND PROMOTE GOODWILL AND ENCOURAGE TO THE COMMUNITY TO SUPPORT THESE STUDENTS. THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB HAS SET UP AN EBLAST SYSTEM WHICH IT USES AS ITS PRIMARY COMMUNICATION TOOL TO COMMUNICATE WITH ITS MEMBERSHIP. INFORMATION IS USED TO UPDATE ITS MEMBERSHIP REGARDING ACTIVITIES, EVENTS, AND OTHER NEWSWORTHY ITEMS WEEKLY. THE MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB HAS ALSO PROVIDED A WEBSITE TO PROMOTE ITS SPORTS PROGRAMS AND WHICH HIGHLIGHT TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENTS AS WELL AS TEAM SCHEDULES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES.
