AFTER SCHOOL CARE ("ASC"): THE ASC PROGRAM IS FOR CHILDREN ATTENDING SAMUEL C. RED ELEMENTARY. CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM RECEIVE ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE, INSTRUCTION, AND ASSISTENCE IN COMPLETING SCHOOL ASSIGNMENTS IN THE HOURS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SCHOOL DAY ENDS.
THE PTO RAISES FUNDS FOR USE IN THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CAMPUS TO HELP FACILITATE AN ENVIRONMENT CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING FOR THE STUDENT POPULATION.
THE PTO ORGANIZES AND FUNDS EXTRACURRICULAR EVENTS AIMED AT BUILDING CAMARADERIE WITHIN THE STUDENT POPULATION AND ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT WITHIN THE SCHOOL.
