THE BAND BOOSTER CLUB FURTHERS THE SUCCESS OF THE DPISD BAND PROGRAM BY SUPPORTING BAND EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY PURCHASES, PROVIDING FUNDS FOR MUSICAL SCORES AND ARRANGEMENTS, PROVIDING FUNDS FOR COMPETITIVE MARCHING AND COLOR GUARD DRILL DESIGN, AND BAND AND COLOR GUARD MARCHING AND CONCERT UNIFORMS.
THE BAND BOOSTER CLUB PROMOTES MUSIC EDUCATION WITH THE DEER PARK ISD'S BAND PROGRAM BY FUNDING A LARGE PORTION OF THE GROUP (MASTER CLASS), AND PRIVATE MUSIC INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE 500 HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL BANDSMEN.
THE BAND BOOSTER CLUB ASSISTS WITH THE SOCIAL PROMOTION OF THE BAND STUDENTS BY FUNDING BAND TRIPS AND COVERING TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES FOR BAND COMPETITIONS AND CONTESTS. THE CLUB ALSO PROMOTES SOCIAL INTERACTION AND FELLOWSHIP AMONG THE STUDENTS IN SUPERVISED, POSITIVE AND SAFE GROUP ACTIVITIES AND FUNCTIONS.
