THE VIETNAMESE CULTURE AND SCIENCE ASSOCIATION (VCSA) PROMOTES EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CULTURE AND SCIENCE. WE ENCOURAGE MULTIGENERATIONAL AND CROSS-CULTURAL COLLABORATIONS AND CIVIC PARTICIPATION.

VCSA VIET CULTURAL FEST IS A CULTURAL FESTIVAL AIMED TO PRESERVE AND FURTHER PROMOTE THE BEAUTY OF VIETNAMESE CULTURE TO THE COMMUNITY AND ESTABLISH AN ANNUAL TRADITION ATTRACTING PEOPLE FROM ALL CULTURES, BACKGROUNDS, AND AGES IN HOUSTON AND ITS VICINITIES WHILE CELEBRATING THE RICH DIVERSITY OF HOUSTON. THE ATTENDESS ARE USUALLY AROUND 7,000 PEOPLE.


VCSA ANNUAL YOUTH EXCELLENCE RECOGNITION LUNCHEON IS HELD ON AUGUST TO HONOR LOCAL AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO GRADUATED AS VALDICTORIANS OR SALUTATORIANS FOR THEIR SENIOR GRADUATING CLASS. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM IS TO PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION AMONG HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 1997, THE ACTIVITY HAS IMPACTED OVER 750 SCHOLARS WHO HAVE BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN MULTIPLE FIELDS.
