MANNED SPACE FLIGHT EDUCATION FOUNDATION OPERATES SPACE CENTER HOUSTON, A VISITORS' CENTER DEVOTED TO INCREASING PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE OF MANNED SPACE FLIGHT BY PROVIDING ARTIFACTS, EXHIBITS, TOURS OF NASA, AND LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS. VISITORS APPROXIMATE 1,000,000 ANNUALLY. HOWEVER DUE TO THE PANDEMIC IN 2020/2021, THE FOUNDATION SAW A DECREASE IN VISITORS AND PROGRAM REVENUE. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION BENEFITS FROM VOLUNTEER EFFORTS, WHICH HAVE TOTALED 10,500 HOURS AND HAVE BEEN VALUED AT $300,000.
