RE:MIND PROVIDES 82 SUPPORT WEEKLY MEETING FOR OVER 62 SUPPORT GROUPS THAT MEET AROUND THE GREATER HOUSTON METROPOLITAN AREA. 2021 WAS A YEAR OF GROWTH AND STRATEGY. FOCUS WAS TO RE-OPEN/RE-LAUNCH SUPPORT GROUPS. ALSO FOCUSED ON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND HAVING AN IN PERSON PRESENCE WHERE POSSIBLE. IN THE PRIOR YEAR 2020, SUPPORT GROUPS PIVOTED DUE TO COVID. THIS TREND CONTINUED IN 2021 AND REACHED THEIR PLANNED CAPACITY OF 20 ONLINE SUPPORT GROUPS. RE:MIND EDUCATED THE COMMUNITY ABOUT DEPRESSION AND BIPOLAR DISORDERS BY PROVIDING 17 EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS, REACHED OVER 1,000 PEOPLE VIA SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, AND THOUSANDS MORE WERE REACHED THROUGH WEBSITE AND NETWORKING.
