ORGANIZED SESSIONS WITH STATE OFFICIALS ON CHAPTER 313 TAX ABATEMENTS, INCREASING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FUNDING, AND IMPROVING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE INCLUDING MEDICAID. ORGANIZED LEADERS IN LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS WHERE CHAPTER 313 AGREEMENT WERE PENDING TO LEARN ABOUT THE COST OF THESE TAX BREAKS TO TEXAS SCHOOL FUNDING AND THEIR DISTRICT. WORKED WITH STATE OFFICIALS TO CONTINUE THE FUNDING FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.
