BUDDY POPPY PROGRAMBUDDY POPPIES ARE MADE BY DISABLED, AND NEEDY VETERANS. WE PURCHASE THESE POPPIES TO HELP SUPPORT THE VETERANS THAT MADE THEM, AND DISTRIBUTE THEM TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR VETERANS IN NEED.


VOICE OF DEMOCRACYVOICE OF DEMOCRACY IS A SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDED TO STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY. STUDENTS SUBMIT AN AUDIO-ESSAY THAT IS DEMOCRATIC AND PATRIOTIC THEMED. THE VOICE OF DEMOCRACY PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-12.


PATRIOT PENAN ESSAY CONTEST THAT ENCOURAGES YOUNG MINDS TO EXAMINE AMERICA'S HISTORY IN A 300-400 WORD ESSAY, EXPRESSING THEIR VIEWS BASED ON A PATRIOTIC THEME CHOSEN BY THE VFW COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF. THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-8.
