THE DALLAS ASSEMBLY WAS FORMED IN 1962 TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR COMMUNITY LEADERS TO DISCUSS LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL ISSUES AS THEY RELATE TO DALLAS AND TO PROVIDE A SETTING FOR CREATING PROFESSIONAL CONTACTS AND ALLIANCES.

SEMINAR IN MONTREAL, CANADA IN MAY 2024


PROGRAMS:WITH THE PRESENTATION OF EIGHT EDUCATONAL PROGRAMS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2024, THE ENTITY PROVIDED A FORUM TO EDUCATE AND ENLIGHTEN A DIVERSE GROUP OF LEADERS ON VARIOUS TOPICS TO ACTIVATE THE COMMUNITY. SUCH TOPICS WHICH DEALT SPECIFICALLY WITH THE CITY OF DALLAS, TEXAS INCLUDED RACE RELATIONS, SOLVING HOMELESSNESS, AND DALLAS PARKS USAGE. OTHER TOPICS OF INTEREST NOT RELATED TO THE CITY OF DALLAS, TEXAS, INCLUDED FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM, SEARCHING FOR COMMON GROUND, EXPANSION OF HEALTHCARE, DISCUSSIONS WITH CONSUL GENERALS FOR CANADA AND U.S. THE EIGHT PROGRAMS RESULTED IN 804 TOTAL ATTENDEES.
