EDUCATION PROGRAMS: 3,147 STUDENTS OF ALL AGES PARTICIPATED IN TDO VIRTUAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS SUCH AS: KIDS OPERA BOOT CAMP, TOURING OPERA, OPERA IN A SUITCASE, OPERA SKETCH WORKSHOP, CAREER DAY DISCUSSIONS, THE TEXAS OPERA ALLIANCE'S TEEN OPERA CLUB, AND TEACHER TRAINING. NO IN-PERSON EDUCATION PROGRAMS TOOK PLACE THIS YEAR DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS:4,510 NORTH TEXANS ENJOYED SOCIALLY-DISTANT LIVE TDO COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS IN SPRING 2021 INCLUDING: 4 SPECIALTY CONCERTS AND EVENTS AT THE WINSPEAR OPERA HOUSE, AS WELL AS 6 OPERATRUCK PERFORMANCES, 8 GARDEN SERENADES, AND 3 FAMILY PERFORMANCES AT UNIQUE AT UNEXPECTED LOCATIONS INCLUDING PARKS, MUSEUMS, SCHOOLS, AND BLOCK-PARTIES.TDO NETWORK/THEDALLASOPERA.TV: IN APRIL 2021, THE DALLAS OPERA LAUNCHED THEDALLASOPERA.TV - A VIDEO STREAMING SERVICE WHICH OFFERS DIGITAL PERFORMANCES OF FULL-LENGTH OPERAS, CONCERTS, AND RECITALS-PLUS FAMILY-FRIENDLY PROGRAMMING, INTERVIEWS, AND FASCINATING ORIGINAL PROGRAMS FEATURING THE WORLD'S MOST ADMIRED SINGERS IN COLLABORATION WITH MAJOR ARTISTS IN OPERA, FILM, AND THEATER VIA THE COMPANY'S TDO NETWORK (FORMERLY TDO NETWORK), AND MORE.
