WE ARE A GROUP OF HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY TEACHERS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE TEACHING OF WORLD, OR GLOBAL, HISTORY IN OUR STATE OF CALIFORNIA. WE DO THAT BY HOLDING AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE WHERE MIDDLE, HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY TEACHERS CAN PRESENT THEIR RESEARCH AND IDEAS AND WHERE EVERYONE CAN LEARN ABOUT RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN THE STUDY OF WORLD HISTORY. THE CONFERENCES ENCOURAGE TEACHERS TO EXCHANGE INFORMATION, CURRICULUM PLANS, AND COURSE SYLLABI, AND TO LAUNCH ADDITIONAL COURSES IN WORLD HISTORY. THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD IN FEBRUARY 2017.
