PROVIDE COMMUNITY BASED CULTURAL DIVERSITY PROGRAMS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL AND ADVISORY ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES TO PEOPLE YOUNG AND OLD TO FOSTER UNITY BENEFITING THE EMPOWER OF THE INDIVIDUAL TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY.

THE JUNETEENTH COMMUNITY CELEBRATION FEATURES SEVERAL PROGRAMS TO BRING ENLIGHTMENT, EMPOWERMENT, EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT TO CITIZEN OF FORT WORTH. EVENTS INCLUDED A FULL MONTH WITH EVENT UNCLUDING THE EMPOWERING YOU EVENT WHICH IS OUR HEALTH FAIR, JOB FAIR, COLLEGE FAIR AND FINANCIAL FAIR ALL ROLLED INTO ONE.


MS. OPAL WAS HONORED WITH THE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD BY AFRIMA (ALL AFRICA MUSIC AWARDS) 2021 IN LAGOS NIGERIA. THE OFFICER PRESENTED ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION WORK FOR JUNETEENTH AND THE NATIONAL JUNETEENTH MUSEUM AT THE GENERAL SESSION, SOLD BOOKS AND DONATED BOOKS TO A SCHOOL.


THE URBAN FARMING PROGRAM EXISTS TO PROVIDE FARM FRESH PRODUCE AND A SUSTAINABLE MODEL TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT FOR THE UNEMPLOYABLE OR UNDEREMPLOYED PROVIDING EDUCATION AND TRINING, EMPOWERMENT AND BUILDING SELF WORTH WHILE BENEFITING A COMMUNITY PLAGUED WITH FOOD INSECURITY AND FOOD DESERTS. THE LONG TERM GOAL IS TO USE FARM IN THE AREA TO HELP PREVIOUSLY INCARCERATED RETURNING CITIZEN WHO HAVE WORKED IN THE TEXAS PENAL SYSTEM FARMS TO HAVE JOBS AND TRAING BASED ON THEIR RECENT EXPERIENCE.
