CHAMPION SATISFIES THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC CHARITY STATUS UNDER CODE 509(A)(2) BECAUSE (I) NOT MORE THAN ONE-THIRD OF ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT CAME FROM GROSS INVESTMENT INCOME, AND (II) MORE THAN ONE THIRD OF ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT CAME FROM CONTRIBUTIONS, MEMBERSHIP FEES, AND GROSS RECEIPTS FROM ACTIVITIES RELATED TO ITS EXEMPT FUNCTIONS, INCLUDING CONTRIBUTIONS AND GROSS RECEIPTS FROM ENTITIES OTHER THAN THE MEMBERS.
