THE SCHOOL IS A NURSING COLLEGE OPERATING UNDER AUTHORITY GRANTED BY TEXAS HIGHER EDUCATION COORDINATION BOARD. THE SCHOOL'S PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE (1) CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION, (2) DEVELOPING STUDENT NURSING SKILLS THROUGH LABORATORY PRACTICE, (3) CLINICAL ROTATIONS DESIGNED TO FURTHER DEVELOP STUDENT NUSRING SKILLS, AND, (4) OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE EDUCATIONAL PURSUITS OF THE STUDENTS.
