MOTLEY COUNTY, TEXAS IS SERVED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVES AS FIRE FIGHTING UNIT FOR THE CITY OF MATADOR AS WELL AS ALL AREAS OF THE COUNTY. THEY HAVE MUTUAL AID AGREEMENTS WITH SURROUNDING COUNTIES.
