THE MISSION OF THE LONE STAR CONFERENCE IS TO FOSTER STUDENT PARTICIPATION AND SUCCESS AMONG MEMBER INSTITUTIONS IN NCAA DIVISION II INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF EACH INSTITUTION'S TOTAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM. IT SHALL PURSUE STUDENT-ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT WITH THE HIGHEST REGARD TO THE PRINCIPLES OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, SPORTSMANSHIP, ETHICAL CONDUCT, RESOURCEFULNESS, COMMUNITY SERVICE, GENDER EQUITY, AND DIVERSITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

COORDINATE AND CONDUCT MEETINGS OF PRESIDENTS, FACULTY REPS, ATHLETIC DIRECTORS AND COACHES WORK WITH DIRECTORS OF ADMISSION, FINANCIAL AID, AND REGISTRATION. ASSIGNMENT OF GAME OFFICIALS IN FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL, BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL FOR MEMBER INSTITUTIONS. SCHEDULE CONFERENCE GAMES FOR CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS.
