THE NATIVE PRAIRIES ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS (NPAT) IS A NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION AND AN ACCREDITED LAND TRUST. OUR MISSION IS DEDICATED TO THE CONSERVATION, RESTORATION AND APPRECIATION OF NATIVE PRAIRIES, SAVANNAS AND OTHER GRASSLANDS IN TEXAS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

LAND CONSERVATION, GENERAL/OTHER: DISCOVERY, ACQUISITION, MANAGEMENT, RESTORATION, AND EDUCATIONAL USE OF PRAIRIE REMNANTS, BOTH VIA CONSERVATION EASEMENT AND OWNERSHIP, IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. NPAT OWNS SIX FEE SIMPLE PRAIRIE REMNANTS TOTALING 1,755 ACRES AND CONSERVATION EASEMENTS ON 17 PRAIRIE REMNANTS.


ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS, GENERAL/OTHER: EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, WITH RESPECT TO THE NATIVE FLORA AND FAUNA OF THE PRAIRIES AND GRASSLANDS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, ABOUT THE AESTHETIC, SPIRITUAL, SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL AND ECONOMIC VALUES OF OUR PRAIRIES AND GRASSLANDS. NPAT HOLDS AN ANNUAL MEETING WITH EDUCATIONAL SPEAKERS ABOUT PRAIRIES AND PUBLISHES AN EDUCATIONAL NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE.
