PROVIDED SERVICES AND SUPPORT TO VICTIMS OF CRIME AND TROUBLED YOUTH IN THE FOLLOWING TANGIBLE WAYS: THE COUNSELING DEPARTMENT SERVED 1,532 CLIENTS FOR A TOTAL OF 10,701 APPOINTMENTS, PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY. PROCESSED APPROXIMATELY 1,450 APPLICATIONS FOR SERVICES AND PERFORMED 1,057 SCREENINGS FOR COUNSELING SERVICES. SERVED 4,089 VICTIMS OF CRIME. STAFF PROVIDED CRISIS COUNSELING 2,149 TIMES AND ASSISTED INDIVIDUALS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF 1,801 SAFETY PLANS. IN ADDITION, STAFF PROVIDED ADVOCACY SERVICES 2,170 TIMES AND INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES 6,639 TIMES. HOSTED ILLUMINATE IRVING IN OCTOBER OF 2022 TO BRING AWARENESS ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TO THE COMMUNITY. PRESENTED AT VARIOUS COMMUNITY EVENTS SUCH AS THE CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY, THE POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE'S RAD PROGRAM (RAPE / AGGRESSION DEFENSE), ALL THINGS MADE NEW SUMMER CAMP FOR PRE-TEENS AND TEENS ON HEALTHY EMOTIONS, AND VARIOUS IRVING ISD EVENTS.
