THE ORDER OF THE ELKS, AND THIS LODGE, IS INVOLVED IN PHILANTHROPY FOR GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS. ALSO TO PROVIDE FRATERNAL ASSOCIATIONS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

MANY OF OUR MEMBERS VOLUNTEER TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SERVING RECIPIENTS IN THE FEED LAKE HIGHLANDS FOOD DISTRIBUTION ORGANIZATION. WE PROVIDE PROTHESES AND OTHER MEDICAL SUPPORT FOR NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE AREA. A DESIGNATED GROUP WITHIN THE LODGE COLLECTS FUNDS FOR THE TEXAS ELKS MAJOR PROJECT: A SUMMER CAMP FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. CERTAIN GRANTS FROM THE ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION ARE USED TO SUPPLEMENT THESE ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO OPERATE A STATE LICENSED BINGO OPERATION WHICH ALLOCATES ITS PROFITS TO VARIOUS CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES.
