PROGRAMS: PEAK GRANTMAKING PROGRAMS SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS IN ADOPTING AND CHAMPIONING EQUITABLE, EFFECTIVE GRANTMAKING PRACTICES WITHIN THEIR ORGANIZATIONS AND ACROSS THE PHILANTHROPIC SECTOR. THE PRINCIPLES FOR PEAK GRANTMAKING ARE OUR CALL TO ACTION TO TRANSFORM THE PRACTICE OF PHILANTHROPY INTO THE PRACTICE OF PRINCIPLED GRANTMAKING. IN 2022, PEAK SUPPORTED MEMBERS IN ADVANCING PRACTICE CHANGE WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMERGENT LEARNING AND PEER CONNECTION ACROSS 122 EVENTS WITH 8,671 PARTICIPANTS. 14 REGIONAL CHAPTERS HELD 79 MEETINGS ENGAGING 4,914 PARTICIPANTS. 684 MEMBERS JOINED ONE OR MORE OF OUR CAUCUSES, AFFINITY GROUPS, COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE, AND WORKING GROUPS. 1,203 MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY ATTENDED OUR THIRD VIRTUAL CONVENING. 3,037 PARTICIPATED IN OUR ONLINE DISCUSSION GROUP, A VITAL RESOURCE FOR YEAR-ROUND PEER LEARNING AND SUPPORT.
MEMBER ENGAGEMENT: PEAK GRANTMAKING BUILDS AND GROWS THE PROFESSION OF GRANTS MANAGEMENT BY ATTRACTING AND RETAINING MEMBERS WHO ADVANCE EQUITABLE GRANTMAKING PRACTICES IN THEIR ORGANIZATIONS AND ADVOCATE FOR SECTOR CHANGE. IN 2022, OUR NETWORK GREW BY 9% TO 7,116 PHILANTHROPY PROFESSIONALS. INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP INCREASED BY 4% TO 533 CONTRIBUTING ORGANIZATIONS WITH A 90% RETENTION RATE. BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE A GROWING SUITE OF RESOURCES, TOOLS, PUBLICATIONS, PROGRAMS, EVENTS, AND ONGOING MEMBER SUPPORT. IN 2022, WE RECRUITED AND TRAINED A RECORD 383 VOLUNTEERS.
