CHARITABLE GIVING: 501 (C) (3) ORGANIZATIONS OPERATING IN EACH OF GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS' MARKETS (ALL WITHIN TEXAS) ARE INVITED TO SUBMIT GRANT APPLICATIONS TO THE GRANDE CARES COMMITTEE IN EACH MARKET. BASED ON THE GRANT MONEY ALLOCATED TO EACH MARKET EACH QUARTER, THE MARKET-LEVEL COMMITTEE DECIDES WHICH ORGANIZATIONS THEY WOULD LIKE TO GIVE TO. THE ENTIRE GRANDE CARES BOARD OF DIRECTORS THEN VOTES ON THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS EACH QUARTER. IN 2022, GRANDE CARES APPROVED 62 GRANTS. THE APPLICATIONS ASK THE ORGANIZATION TO DESCRIBE THEIR MISSION OR PURPOSE AND THEIR TARGET BENEFICIARIES.
