THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR HEALTH SCIENCE STUDENTS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN THE HEALTHCARE FIELD. IT ALSO PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR HEALTH SCIENCE TEACHERS AND ADVISORS WHO ATTENDED MEETINGS WITH THEIR STUDENTS. IN 2022-2023, THERE WERE 3,594 REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS FOR EVENTS AND CONFERENCES. THE ASSOCIATION HAD 107 CHAPTERS AND 3,258 MEMBERS.
