TO PROVIDE SHELTER, HOUSING, FOOD, CLOTHING, COUNSELING, EDUCATION, MEDICAL, AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO WOMEN AND THEIR DEPENDENT CHILDREN WHO ARE IN NEED.

Part 3 - Line 4a

FOUR HOMES PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER TO WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO WERE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE. IN 2021 12,060 CLIENTS WERE PROVIDED SERVICES, INCLUDING 90 WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO RESIDED IN THE SHELTERS. HOUSE PARENTS WERE PAID TO LIVE WITH AND OVERSEE RESIDENTS' ACTIVITIES, TO PROVIDE SECURITY AND TO ASSIST WITH DAILY MAINTENANCE. ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED IN HOMELESS PREVENTION AND RAPID REHOUSING NEEDS.


GROCERIES AND OTHER DIRECT AID WAS PROVIDED FOR RESIDENTS OF SHELTERS AS WELL AS BARE NECESSITIES AND SOME EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, EMERGENCY AID IN THE FORM OF CASH FOR MEDICAL & OTHER NEEDS PROVIDED.


COVID-19 HOMELESS PREVENTION SERVICES-ASSISTED CLIENTS WITH RENT, MORTAGE, UTILITY AND OTHER PAYMENTS TO PREVENT THEM FROM LOSING THEIR HOMES. 415 CLIENTS WERE ASSISTED IN 2021.


DONATION TO CORPUS CHRISTI HOPE HOUSE ENDOWMENT FUND AT THE COASTAL BEND COMMUNITY FOUNDATION.
