THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1954 (OR CORRESPONDING PROVISIONS OF ANY FUTURE U.S. INTERNAL REVENUE LAW), INCLUDING FOR SUCH PURPOSES, CONDUCTING, SUPPORTING AND ASSISTING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ON PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES.

RESEARCHING AND INFLUENCING PUBLIC POLICY: STAFF ENGAGE IN NON-LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING RESEARCH, EDUCATION, AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT TO STOP THE POLLUTION FROM SINGLE-USE PLASTICS, PROTECTING CONSUMERS FROM UNFAIR PRICE GOUGING AND WORKING TO GIVE CITIZENS THE RIGHT TO REPAIR THEIR OWN DEVICES.
