ADVOCATE FOR PRESERVATION OF WETLANDS, PROTECT THE WILDERNESS AREAS, AND PROMOTE SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION. EDUCATE FAMILIES AND PROVIDE EXPERIENCES FOR THE PUBLIC TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF UNPOLLUTED WATER AND FRESH, CLEAN AIR.

Part 3 - Line 4a

FUNCTIONAL RV PARK/ CAMPGROUNDFORT CASPAR CAMPGROUND AND RV PARK IS ESTABLISHED IN A CASPER, WYOMING ARE WITH THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER ON TWO SIDES OF THE CAMPGROUND. THE CAMPGROUND IS USED AS A EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR TRAVELERS FROM ALL OVER TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF UNPOLLUTED AIR AND WATER. BROCHURES ARE PROVIDED TO THE GUESTS REGARDING THE IZAAK WALTON LEAGUE OF AMERICA AND THE WORK IT DOES AROUND THE COUNTRY.


OUTDOOR HIKING IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE.HIKES THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL WYOMING AREA TO TEACH RESIDENTS HOW THE WATERFALLS, LAKES, RIVERS, STREAMS AND NATURAL ROCK FORMATIONS CAME INTO BEING AND CONTINUE TO AFFECT OUR CURRENT LIVES.HIKES PROMOTE THE APPRECIATION OF THE CLEAN AIR, BEAUTIFUL TREES AND FOLIAGE, CLEAN WATER, AND THE PRESENCE OF WILDLIFE.THESE EVENTS ARE PLANNED AND EXECUTED FOR THE PUBLIC BY VOLUNTEERS FROM THE CHAPTER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.


EDUCATIONAL MISSION-SPECIFIC MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS:MEETINGS IN THE HISTORIC LOG-BUILT BUILDING ON THE LEAGUE PROPERTY.LEAGUE MEMBERS AND GUESTS BEGIN WITH A POT-LUCK MEAL, FOLLOWED BY A SHORT BUSINESS MEETING, AFTER WHICH A SPEAKER EDUCATES AND INTERACTS WITH ALL IN ATTENDANCE FOR ANOTHER 1.5 TO 2 HOURS OF THE EVENING. ALL SPEAKERS ARE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE PROJECTS REGARDING THE ENVIROMENT, WILDLIFE, CONSERVATION MEASURES, AND STEWARDSHIP OF THE LAND, WATER, AND AIR.
